Of all the people to be stranded with for the holidays, in a major snowstorm, my brother’s best friend and my mortal enemy, Ryan Gardner, would have been my very last pick.
Unfortunately for me, that’s exactly what happened.
With nothing else to do in an isolated cabin, our decades old rivalry is put to the test, until all our arguing and bickering comes to a head and we find ourselves shifting from enemies to red-hot lovers.
We both swear it’s a one time thing, and what happens at the cabin stays at the cabin never to be repeated again.
Except neither one of us anticipated that beneath all that hate were much stronger feelings that neither one of us could deny.
Loathing turns to love when two people are stranded together at Christmas. ~ Sharon – Simply Love Books
I enjoyed this “stranded” at Christmas story by Kaylee Monroe. April and Ryan have history that has left them with nothing but animosity towards one another, but they put it aside when April’s family along with Ryan who they consider family after taking him in when his parent’s died, at Christmas in the family cabin. A snowstorm that arrives early traps April and Ryan alone and after a miserable first night, April has a plan to make sure Ryan notices her. There was so much pining and heat between these two and I loved that they found their way to each other even with a few ups and downs. A steamy, feel good story where two people finally admit the complicated feelings they’ve had towards each other and fall head over heels in love.
