This was a captivating read with great humor, incredible characters, and a delightful town. I’d love to live in Bliss! ~ Shadow, Guilty Pleasures

Re-released in a second edition with two new chapters and additional new content.

Rachel Swift is a woman on the run.

A stalker sent Rachel’s world reeling. Now she’s running for her life, and Bliss, CO, seems like the perfect place to hide. Bliss is a strange little town, filled with artists, nudists, and the occasional conspiracy nut. It’s a good place to start over.

Max and Rye are just the men to catch her.

Horse trainer Max and Sheriff Rye gave up on their dream of finding one perfect woman to share long ago. Rachel walks in, and they’re both in love and fighting their true natures.

A town like no other….

When Rachel’s past catches up with her, all of Bliss is in danger. Rachel knows she should run, but how can she leave behind the love she’s found with Max and Rye and the home she’s built in Bliss? With her whole town behind her, Rachel is ready to make her stand. It’s time for her to get back in the saddle and ride.

Three to ride is a re-release of a book by Lexi Blake, originally writing as Sophie Oak. I enjoyed the original and the revised version is even better.

The story revolves around Rachel Swift, who accidentally arrives in Bliss, Colorado, while running from a psycho stalker, who also happens to be a cop. When she meets Max Harper, the immediate attraction between them throws both of them for a loop. Max, known as the grump of Bliss, usually shares his women with his brother, Rye, letting Rye provide the charm. But for Rachel, he is willing to try it solo, especially since his brother is out of town for the first two weeks of their acquaintance. When Rye returns, he finds himself also attracted to Rachel, but doesn’t want to interfere in Max’s relationship. But what happens when they find out that Rachel has lied to them-and that her past is about to catch up to her?

Rachel has always been a force to be reckoned with, strong and caring, but not willing to put up with any nonsense from her chosen lovers. The new book explains more about how she arrived in Bliss, including a surprising welcoming committee. It also gives hints of the cross over to come with the Masters and Mercenaries series.

Max and Rye are charming and delightful. Watching Max back off when Rachel gets her dander up is hysterical.

One of the best parts of the the book is the forward where the author explains how the Bliss series came to be. She sets up the scene to the point you can see exactly what was in her mind.

This was a captivating read with great humor, incredible characters, and a delightful town. I’d love to live in Bliss!
