I was happy that Camilla finally found love. It was so secret even she didn’t even realize it! ~ Paige, Guilty Pleasures

Blurb:
Never step into the middle of a family feud—

Millionaire Carl Whitfield has set his sights on small-town chef Camila Torres, but she won’t have him until he can prove he means to settle in Chance Creek for good. He’s spent the last three years searching for the perfect ranch. She’s spent the last three years keeping him at arms’ length. Now Carl will do anything to secure a spread—including siding with the Coopers in their ages-old feud with the Turners, a move that could make his dreams come true—or destroy them for good.

The Cowboys Secret Bride is the first of a new series by Cora Seton. It’s a new take on the Hatfield/ McCoy dispute. This new series has some of our favorites as well as showcasing the ancillary characters that have been waiting for the love bug to strike.

I was thrilled that Camilla finally found her HEA. She’s been in several of the series and glad she’s become a leading lading. Unfortunately, her Prince is a little slow in the love department.

Carl has loved Camilla from a far. She gave him an ultimatum and it’s taken him 3 years to get his act together. I found this part to be very frustrating. They are supposed to be in love but dated once and never again.

What I did love about this book was their time spent across the border with her family. The overall theme written about was love and forgiveness. They became closer and showed what it means to be a family.

While I didn’t get a love connection from these two at first, as they were still trying to find themselves, they worked well as a team to get their happy ending.
