Katrina’s Lesson in Social Media Disasters

or How Technology Can Bite You In The A**

Katrina Phillips is an expert social media manager. But that doesn’t mean she can’t make mistakes. Horrible, hide-in-your-closet-forever mistakes… like accidentally syncing her BootyBook app with her online profiles.

Blammo. Now everyone in the world can see who Katrina has dated and how they rated in appearance, sexual performance, and (OMG) detailed descriptions of their manly parts! Now her phone is blowing up with irate exes—and an out-of-the-blue text from the only guy who came close to a perfect score…

Katrina has had a thing for Drew Jordan since forever ago, even if a booze-fuelled one-nighter did destroy their friendship. So why is he suddenly texting her now—and is it because she rated his Sexy Staff Of Manliness as “magnificent”? Now the only way to satisfy her curiosity is to reunite with Drew… and rate him all over again!

I must say I kind of giggle-snorted at the heroine’s predicament in Perfect 10 by Erin McCarthy atruegemawardbecause while I’ve never had a social media or email mishap, I received a very personal email from a friend that was intended for his girlfriend’s eyes only. Thankfully, we are good enough friends that I wasn’t shocked and we laughed it off but Katrina Phillips isn’t that lucky. In reality though, her mishap happened to turn into a really great thing for her and her college best friend, Drew Jordan. Often amusing, incredibly sexy, and entertaining made Perfect 10…well, quite perfect.

Most of us know there’s always a learning curve when we get a new smart phone and Trina finds out rather quickly that despite being a social media guru not understanding your phone’s features can bite you in the butt when the app she uses to keep track of the men she’s dated posts her ratings on her personal and business pages. She gets a variety of reactions, but when Drew contacts her and asks to meet she’s unsure what he wants from her. Their friendship fell by the wayside after a roll in the hay almost a year ago and she’s mourned the loss of her friend so she agrees.

I really loved watching Trina and Drew reunite, it was obvious how comfortable they were with one another at one time and how their one encounter changed things. It was satisfying watching them fall back into the friendship they once enjoyed with some added sexual tension and interest mixed in. Drew was especially entertaining because he was determined to become a perfect 10 in Trina’s eyes in more ways than one. Trina was somewhat confused about Drew’s actions but because of the overwhelming feelings she has for him she just allowed herself to roll with what was happening between them. Drew really made my day by making Trina turn off her cell phone when they were on dates together, honestly as a society this is something that needs to happen way more than it does.

Erin McCarthy serves up an incredibly sexy yet wonderfully sweet story that takes the friends to lover’s angle and adds in a fun little twist making it extremely enjoyable. Don’t miss Perfect 10 it’s guaranteed to make you laugh, make you smile, and make you always double check your email recipients and know how to work your personal electronics!
