Ryan Wild thought he had everything he could ever want. A billionaire before thirty, he's finally moved back home to Bitterroot Valley, built a beautiful house on his ranch, and has
recently adopted a teenage boy that has brought nothing but joy into his life. The only thing that's been missing is the feeling of Polly in his arms since their incredible night together months ago. Memories of her touch aren't nearly enough to satisfy him, and Ryan will do anything he can to make her his.
Polly can't forget the one night she spent with Ryan all of those months ago, but she understood that it was a one-time deal. Yes, she still thinks about the sexy billionaire cowboy and his strong arms wrapped around her, but she's a busy woman, with a thriving clothing shop and a group of friends that keep her on her toes. When you add in a house that always needs repairs, Polly's days and nights are completely full. But when Ryan starts coming around, tempting her with that killer smile, heated bedroom eyes, and generous gifts, how is she supposed to stay away from him?
Polly knows how important the bond between father and son is and feels guilty for taking some of Ryan's attention away from Jake, especially when Ryan whisks her away to Paris for
the romantic vacation of her dreams. And just when the three of them start to settle in together, where Polly, Jake and Ryan start to feel like a family, she starts getting warnings and prank phone calls. Someone wants to come between them and their growing relationship.
The love they share is beyond their wildest dreams, but when danger lurks, will they be torn apart forever?
Wildest Dreams was a lovely, small town romance and with each book in this series I fall more in love with the Wild family. ~ Sharon – Simply Love Books
I loved Wildest Dreams, the latest book in Kristen Proby’s The Wilds of Montana series. Months ago Polly and Ryan shared one night together and haven’t seen or talked to each other since. Polly is busy with her store and the Iconic Women’s Collective, a group of women business owners celebrating, collaborating, and supporting one another and Ryan’s many business and building a relationship with his recently adopted teenage son, Jake. A chance run in had Ryan and Jake helping her out with some work in her shop gives them a chance to realize some miscommunication kept them apart. I liked that these were two adults and they were able to discuss and move on quickly from the past. I really loved these two together and the fact that from the start Ryan wanted to make all of Polly’s dreams come true even though she never asked him to.
I liked Ryan a lot; he left the family ranch and went and made himself a billionaire and when he did return home he bought a ranch near his family and built his own home. When a runaway foster child needed out of a bad situation, Ryan took him in to help with the horses and adopted him. He’s a good man who loves to help those he cares about.
I’ve loved Polly since the first book in this series and I was excited to get her story. She is a force to be reckoned with and is always there to help anyone in the Women’s Collective with advice or moral support. I liked that after Jake got caught up with some bad kids in the previous book she let him work in her store to pay her back and didn’t hold his actions against him instead accepting him and making sure he was comfortable with her relationship with Ryan.
Polly and Ryan were honest and open with each other every step of the way and I appreciated they were adults and acted as such. While Polly was taken aback by Ryan’s wealth especially when he insists on spending money on her she soon realizes that giving to those he cares about is his love language just as Ryan realizes acts of service and helping others are Polly’s love language.
There was a bit of a suspense element to this story that seemed unnecessary. I loved how Polly and Ryan worked together to alleviate his fears and assure him he is a much wanted part in their lives.
Wildest Dreams was a lovely, small town romance and with each book in this series I fall more in love with the Wild family.
