This heart-warming second chance love story about hope and healing from USA Today bestselling author Annie Rains is perfect for fans of Raeanne Thayne and Jenny Hale!

For a gardener blessed with a green thumb, Savannah Collins's life sure seems like it's all thorns, zero roses. She has no job, no relationship, and no place to live. With nothing but a car full of plants and her new rescue kitten, Savannah heads to Bloom, North Carolina, to spend the summer with her beloved Aunt Eleanor, a retired librarian.

Her aunt shares her love of literature with the Finders Keepers Library, located in her beautiful garden, where anyone can stop by to pick a book or leave a book. When a sudden summer storm destroys the library and many of the roses, it will take a village to get everything ready for the garden wedding that is planned there in just three weeks.

As the entire town joins in to make the necessary repairs, Savannah bonds with their neighbor Evan Sanders over the books that Eleanor has handpicked for each of them, helping them both find healing and self-discovery. Savannah only intends to stay through the summer, but when an unexpected job offer, a sudden health crisis, and a wayward pre-teen push her future in new directions, she has to wonder whether this is the place that she is meant to be--and the family she's meant to be with.

The characters grew and saw that with a little faith and hope, they can start new beginnings. ~ Amanda – Simply Love Books

The Finders Keepers Library is a second chance at love story and the first in a new series by Annie Rains. Savannah Collins is returning to Bloom, NC to spend the summer with her aunt Eleanor since she presently has no job and running low on funds. A summer storm does damage to the rose garden and the library in Eleanor’s backyard, which is to host a wedding in 3 weeks. It is going to take many hands to get it back into shape and friends reunite to help. Evan Sanders, the next-door neighbor, steps up to help and it also gives him a chance to reacquaint himself with Savannah again. They spent many summers together reading books Eleanor recommended when they were children. Now he’s falling all over again for the girl he use to crush on. What a good story that had me wanting more and for it not to end.

All the characters were dealing with some real-life issue; an illness, grief of a loved one, single-parenting, fear of falling. Savannah was recently diagnosed with Lupus and had to learn how to deal with this disease, and let people in to help her. Her fiancé broke up with her because of it and that shook her that others might do the same. Evan and his young daughter June are learning how to live with one another full-time since his ex and her mother recently passed away. Growing pains of pushing limits test these two and the threat of a grandmother keep these two on their toes wondering what is really good for June. Eleanor/Ellie’s story was most intriguing to me because she has a second chance at love herself but her fear of falling and leaving the comfort of house is too much. Thank goodness she seeks help, and a dear friend to help her take steps to conquer her fear. The Finders Keepers Library is a sweet romance for both a young and an older couple. The book quotes at the beginning of each chapter was inspiring to the story as well and I loved how Eleanor gives advice with them throughout the story. Definitely words to live by.

The characters grew and saw that with a little faith and hope, they can start new beginnings with someone they dearly love. I look forward to returning to Bloom and see if love can happen again.
