The heart wants what it wants and mine has never stopped wanting her.London Canterbury and I were never meant to be.Her family was rich. She was cheer captain. The most popular girl in our school while I was the opposite. Poor, nerdy, and invisible. Eight years ago, I kissed the hell out of her, knowing I was never going to see her again. Or so I thought. Because here I am, rescuing none other than London who crashed her car into a tree in the middle of a blizzard. Right before Christmas. Now she's stuck in my house. In my head. Back in my heart before I ever have a chance to stop it.As the storm intensifies outside so does the fire between us. Despite all that, I know this is too good to last. That eventually the storm will end and she'll leave. But losing her is no longer an option. I'm hoping that sometimes all it takes to fall in love is just one kiss...This is a funny and steamy, second chance, snowed in, holiday romance that will make you swoon! It's a complete standalone.

I thought Just One Kiss was a pretty awesome holiday romance. ~ Sharon – Simply Love Books

I thought Just One Kiss was a pretty awesome holiday romance. The hero and heroine knew one another in high school but ran in different crowds in that she was part of the “in crowd” and he was a scholarship kid who just wanted an education and to get the hell out. They were aware of each other and he had a major crush on her from the first day and she found him interesting. The shared one kiss at a graduation party and then he disappeared. Eight years later, he can’t believe it’s her he just pulled out of a snow bank just a few days before Christmas.

Miles had the whole brooding, loner artist thing down and despite making a pretty decent living at his art he still didn’t feel like he was in London’s league. At times London got on my nerves; she grew up privileged and really could not relate to a lot of what Miles went through. Her parents were accepting of others, but that doesn’t change the fact they lived very different lives. I did feel she truly was interested in Miles’ life and the fact he was living his dream as an artist. I hated that Miles would not put himself out there and just come out and tell her how he felt, but could also understand his apprehension given his past.

I felt the author did a good job of balancing the past with the present given this was a novella. There was no doubt these two had chemistry but neither was willing to put themselves out there to make sure the other knew they wanted more.

Overall, enjoyable and it held my interest from start to finish. I recommend Just One Kiss.
