Find the Author: Facebook, AmazonAfter a disastrous family Thanksgiving, all I wanted was to avoid anything holly and jolly this year, so an unexpected business trip seemed like the perfect escape plan . . . until I landed smack dab in the middle of a freaking winter wonderland, otherwise known as Carole Cove, Montana. It's merrier and brighter than the North Pole. The town even comes with its own Mr. Holiday-Noel Holiday, that is. Not only is he holly and jolly but he's hotter than the lattes he sells at his café. And for some reason he would love nothing more than to share the magic of the season with me.
Unfortunately, this little trip of mine isn't exactly filled with good cheer. But Noel's kisses have a way of making me believe in Christmas miracles. And a miracle might be exactly what it takes to keep the holidays from being ruined forever.

Fun and festive; How To Ruin the Holidays was a cute holiday read. ~ Sharon – Simply Love Books
This was a cute story and read like a holiday television movie. Sent to a small Montana town to secure a piece of land for the family real estate business a woman is swept up in the holiday spirit while staying in an over the top bed and breakfast and interacting with the locals including a man who seems to be everywhere especially places laden with mistletoe.
I liked Mara but felt she was in an impossible position with her father and felt bad for the mess her family was when she yearns for a perfect family like her best friend’s family. I liked her inner monologue and how every day she found more and more to like about Carole Cove. Her interactions with Noel went from somewhat awkward to cute to yearning to more and I loved each step.
Noel’s family was influential in the town and he returned after his best friend and his sister’s husband died and decided he missed small town life. He owns a coffee shop and seems to help everyone around town that needs help. He’s a good guy with a big heart.
I loved their chemistry and the time they spent together even doing mundane things like plowing the roads after a big storm strands her in town. The whole time her best friend is reminding her what’s happening to her is exactly like a holiday movie.
My biggest complaint is the big issue that threatens the town and her relationship with Noel was solved in an uncharacteristic move and that was a bummer. I would have preferred if she alone or working with Noel they were able to solve it without the intervention.
