Shadow Dance is the eighth story and the Shadow Rider series just keeps getting better. The story focuses on the New York based Ferraros and the rise in murders in Geno Ferraro’s territory. His parents were just murdered and he takes steps to find the killers and get his justice. When a trap is set in place he captures an unusual suspect of a petite woman that is strangely calling to him. Amaranthe Aubert is an elite rider for the International Council and something is happening here in New York that is related to the havoc in other parts of the world. Can she convince Geno and the other Ferraro men that she is here to help and not the killer herself? The story was captivating and sensual seductive for a suspense paranormal romance. The main characters are both a little rough around the edges and misunderstood. Once they get to know one another they see that they complement one another and understand each other like no one has before. She longs to belong and he longs to have someone of his own that will love him for him. There was a new twist to the plot and a mystery of who the killers were and why they were systematically eliminating people who are dear to Geno. The one constant theme throughout was the love of family and how much they hold it dearly and they fear of losing it. Shadow Dance was exceptionally written well and I highly recommend it.
