Will a billionaire stranded by a winter storm lose his heart to the small-town innkeeper willing to help him…for a price?

Natalie

When I gave my aunt a ride to the airport ten days before Christmas, I didn’t expect to bring a stray billionaire back to Charming Lake. I agreed to give him a ride in exchange for one hundred thousand dollars—needed for reasons I don’t share with him—but the weather took an icy turn and now I’m bringing him home with me.

Donovan

Thanks to losing my wallet and phone—and weather gone wrong—I’m stranded at The Charming Inn with a very distracting woman. I don’t like distractions. Swept up in the town’s Christmas celebrations, though, I can’t keep my hands off of her. How can I be falling so hard and fast for a woman who put a six-figure price tag on helping me?

If you’re in the mood for a festive read full of love, laughter and happily ever after, the HOLIDAY HEA series is here for you!

What I loved about this story is there was absolutely no drama. ~ Sharon – Simply Love Books

Stranded in a Small Town Christmas by Shannon Stacey was a delightful holiday romance between a small town girl with no desire to leave town and a stranded billionaire she offers to drive to see his injured mom.  What I loved about this story is there was absolutely no drama.

Workaholic Donovan left his briefcase that contained his phone and wallet on the airplane and can’t get anyone to help him retrieve it when Natalie reminds him getting upset at the airline employees won’t help, but she does offer to help for one hundred thousand dollars to which he agrees. With weather rolling in faster than expected, Natalie has no choice but to take him to her family’s inn.

What I really loved about this story is how easily Donovan rolled with the cards he was dealt after he found out his mom was going to be okay.  He didn’t demand anything, he didn’t expect to be waited on, and in fact he enjoyed pitching in and helping and being a part of the family’s preparations for the town festival and parade. Then there was the simmering attraction between Donovan and Natalie that was ever present even when they knew they lead very different lives.

Watching Donovan realize that he hasn’t missed the constant attachment to his phone and while he’s mildly concerned about his businesses he finds he rather likes the slower pace and enjoyment of the Christmas holiday preparations was. When he finds out why Natalie asked for the money for her help made him realize she is even more special that he realized.

Stranded in a Small Town Christmas is the perfect book to curl up in front of a fire with your favorite hot beverage and escape into. I loved it!
