Sugar and Spice is a sexy and sweet opposites attract/adversaries to lovers holiday romance. It kicks off the Pine Mountain series, and is an updated, spicy-sweet version of a novella that was originally published as part of The Sugar Cookie Sweetheart Swap anthology in 2013.

Kimberly Kincaid gave us an almost drama free, cute, contemporary holiday story set in the little town of Pine Mountain. ~ Kitty – Simply Love Books

You know you will enjoy a book with the name of Sugar and Spice and you could only hope that it will have everything nice. Kimberly Kincaid gave us an almost drama free, cute, contemporary holiday story set in the little town of Pine Mountain. Enemies to lovers to happily-ever-after, this novella will put a holiday smile on your face and get in in the mood to get going on all those Christmas cookies.

Pete was a risk taker. A little bad-ass and a whole lot sexy. He wanted one thing … to be the Pastry Chef at L’Orangerie and it’s not beneath him to do whatever it takes to get the position. His first goal – win the cookie competition at Pine Mountain Resort. He had no idea that he would get more than he bargained for. Lily is the sweet one. Always there for her friends, volunteering, she is just naturally sweet. Her goal – get her own bakery. It’s hard baking in her little kitchen. When she hears about the Christmas cookie competition at the resort, she know that winning that would pave the way to her dreams coming true. But, just like Peter, she had no idea that she would get more than she bargained for.

Pete and Lily are thrown together time and time again during the competition. Here’s the problem. Lily can’t stand Pete after he dumped her friend Mia. But, did he? And, if he didn’t break her heart, can she let herself be attracted to him? Can she act on the attraction and chemistry that they have both in and out of the kitchen? Sugar and Spice did have everything nice. I loved Pete’s back-story and why he made the decisions that he did. He may be a little spicy but he has a huge heart. And, Lily was Lily. Huge heart and a personality that can win over even the staunchest of opponents. You couldn’t help but love her.

So, who wins? I guess you will have to take a chance on Sugar and Spice to find that out. Kimberly Kincaid really put me in the holiday spirit with this novella and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
