Gio is blessed with a big family and lots of friends. Unfortunately, there’s an unspoken code amongst his buddies…one where sisters are off-limits. That wouldn’t be a problem if he and his best friend, Rafe, could stop thinking about Kayden’s vivacious, fun-loving little sister, Keeley. They have always been stand-up guys, but Keeley is so tempting, so sexy, that they’re in danger of breaking all the rules.

Keeley’s not exactly batting a thousand when it comes to life. She just lost her job and her only true talent seems to be picking the worst guys on the planet from online dating sites. However, her uneventful life takes a turn for the steamy after Rafe hires her to work for him and he and Gio start crashing all her bad dates.

When one kiss lead to a second and then to something much, much more, the lovers are left to decide if they’re engaging in a fun fling or embarking on forever.

From the supernatural to crashing dates, I laughed, smiled swooned and hoped for the happily-ever-after that I knew Mari Carr would give us. ~ Kitty – Simply Love Books

Breaking the rules never felt so good. Well, that’s how Keeley felt. She knew there was an unspoken rule that sisters were a no-go but, she couldn’t help but flirt with Gio. Wasn’t she surprised when he finally took her up on that dare. One kiss … one stolen moment … three lives changed.

Gio and Rafe always knew that Keeley could be trouble. Outgoing, spirited, full of life and sexy as sin. Rafe puts himself in a position where he is really getting to know Keeley. Working with her every day is a blessing and a curse. The more he gets to know her, the more intriguing she is. When Gio kisses her, he can’t help but wonder what it would be like to have her between them. He won’t go there with her … he’s a complete commitment phobia kind of guy and she’s definitely a forever kind of girl.

Gio knows things can be special with Keeley. That kiss was nothing like he ever had before. The second one was better. He knows Rafe will cut and run with his past but, he has to convince him that this can be it. He’s doing whatever is he can to make him see what they have, what they could have and how wonderful the future would be. He knows Rafe feels something for Keeley, now he needs to get him to trust that those feelings are real and that he’s not his mother.

My heart broke for Rafe. He seriously didn’t trust what he was feeling. All he could think about was how many step-fathers he had. He doesn’t trust love even when all “signs” point to him being there. Thanks Grandpa Albert for showing him the way. I couldn’t have been happier when he finally saw the light … or felt the freezing cold … or had to strip down in the scorching heat. Yes, thank you Grandpa Albert.

From the supernatural to crashing dates to the realization that love really isn’t something to be afraid of, I laughed and smiled, swooned and hoped throughout this story. I’m not sure if I want to go to Philadelphia or Baltimore at this point … but I definitely want to go wherever Mari Carr’s characters happen to be.
