Things get textual when a steamy message from a random wrong number turns into an anonymous relationship in this hilarious rom-com by Lynn Painter.

Bad luck has always followed Olivia Marshall...or maybe she's just the screw-up her family thinks she is. But when a "What are you wearing?" text from a random wrong number turns into the hottest, most entertaining—albeit anonymous—relationship of her life, she thinks things might be on the upswing....

Colin Beck has always considered Olivia his best friend's annoying little sister, but when she moves in with them after one of her worst runs of luck, he realizes she's turned into an altogether different and sexier distraction. He's sure he can keep his distance, until the moment he discovers she's the irresistible Miss Misdial he's been sort of sexting for weeks—and now he has to decide whether to turn the heat up or ghost her before things get messy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between these two. Some of it was laugh-out-loud funny … other was just sinful. Lynn Painter really gave me a story I truly enjoyed with characters that were fun and easy to read. ~ Kitty – Simply Love Books

From sexting to sex … Mr. Wrong Number held my attention, had me smiling and laughing all the while hoping that things would finally work out and these two unlikely people would figure things out.

From the beginning of Mr. Wrong Number, I did nothing but smile. Even when things got a little hairy between Olivia and Colin, I just knew that they would figure it out and find a happily-ever-after.

If it wasn’t for bad luck, Olivia wouldn’t have any luck at at all. From a bad break-up to burning down her apartment building to losing her job, to lying about being a mother to get another job, she just couldn’t win. But, nothing ever really got her down. She’d find a silver lining if it kills her or the people around her. What she didn’t expect was finding out who Mr. Wrong Number really was.

Colin knew he was the black sheep of the family. How dare he go into finance and make a name for himself instead of following in his father’s footsteps? He also knew that his life was stagnant. So he tried to spice things up a bit … “What are you wearing?” A simple text that turned into what could be his best or worst nightmare. As the texts continue and start becoming a little bit risque, Colin and Olivia both know that they really like the person on the other end of the text. But, would it be wise to burst the bubble and really meet? Colin’s bubble got burst first and it was time that he stopped … ghosted the woman on the other end. Did he have a choice? Is it too late for him to stop the feelings that he already started to have for the one woman that he could never have? Olivia was hysterical. She brought this book to life. Yes, she tried not to let things get her down, grab the bull by the horns and just live life. It took a while for Colin to realize that she wasn’t the screw up that he thought her to be. That she just lived life to the fullest and did her best to just enjoy it. It was hard lesson to learn but, he finally realized that she was living life so much better than him.

I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between these two. Some of it was laugh-out-loud funny … other was just sinful. Lynn Painter really gave me a story I truly enjoyed with characters that were fun and easy to read. She also made me want to go out a purchase a Purple bed.

About Lynn Painter

Lynn Painter lives with her husband and pack of wild children in Nebraska, where she is a weekly contributor to the Omaha World-Herald and an avid fan of napping. When working on a new book, she can often be found sound asleep on her office floor. Some might say she should grow up and stop randomly dozing off like she’s a toddler, but Lynn considers it part of her writing “process.”

Yeah – because that totally makes it legit.
