The first in a series, instant love, single dad….what more could you ask for?! ~ Paige – Simply Love Book Reviews
Ransom is the first book in a new series and the authors didn’t disappoint. The characters were well written and extremely likeable and I loved the storyline although it was a little over the top.
The main characters had so much in common. I think this is why the worked so well together. Both Ransom and Genesis are single parents trying to raise their family. They work hard and run their own businesses. They also weren’t looking for love but fell into it when they met each other. There was a good amount of tension initially between them that quickly morphed into more. I thought the insta-love between them worked. There were small hiccups but I appreciate the simple love story as the cartel issues were a little much. It did add the suspense/drama that the story needed to keep the story moving and interesting.
And like every great book, I did need a few tissues at the end. It was the perfect ending for this sweet couple.
