I’ve not read many best friends to lovers books before. Not sure why, just haven’t. But this book made me  a believer! I guess I just was always like, but they KNOW everything about each other! Why start a relationship if it’s not in the whole NEW phase??!! It isn’t realistic! But Eli and Laura COMPLETELY blew my theory out of the water!! I love everything Rayanna and Allysa write together. The stories they weave are better than fairy tales. Fairy tales don’t have daddies and they SURE don’t have spanks! But one of the things I love most about how these two write is it is always absolutely seamless. You can’t tell who is writing when, or where one stops and another picks up, it’s perfect. Fool Me, Daddy is no different.

Laura and Eli are best friends who have both had a thing for me each other since childhood. Sure Eli was into men and not women, Laura just chalked her attraction up to him being a hot man she’d never have. But when a visit from Eli proved he was definitely NOT gay, and very into her idea of a perfect boyfriend as a daddy, all bets were off the table. He wanted to be her perfect book club of the month boyfriend.

This book had me panting with laughter one minute and panting for other reasons the next. I love this new series and can’t wait for the next!!
