Hello Edward!! Welcome to Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews!!
- Why did you decide to become a writer? Honestly, I never set out to be a writer, I more or less fell into it. Being an electrician and working for myself, I spend a lot of long lonely days on the job. While I work I enjoy listening to books on my ipod. I love literature and listen to a wide range of books. My enjoyment of certain authors, drew me to Facebook where I got into role playing and was offered the opportunity to write shorts. I gave it a go, they liked it and here I am. I am enjoying it quite a bit and have dozens of stories bouncing around in my head.
- And the favorite!! Where do your ideas come from? That’s a tough one. They come from all over really. They pop into my head from something I’ve read, some fantasy I’ve had, something someone mentions in passing. I may see a picture here on Facebook and it will spark an idea from a story. What can I say? I am a typical guy, always horny and loving sex. Grateful when I get some. The Pit Series came from my enjoyment of BDSM. The stories with Kass have come from the two of us chatting over story ideas and building on them. I can pretty much twist anything into something erotic, like with Hansel and Gretel and The Ten O’Clock Club.
- What does your family think of your writing career? They are all very proud and happy for me to do it and read everything the moment they can get their hands on it, even my mum. My family has been very supportive. Since I work all day, I only have the evenings to write really and it takes time from them.
- I am a fan of The Pit Series. Love Cameron. What can you share with us about the series? The series came from my enjoyment of BDSM. I am a bit of a Dom, myself and very much enjoy what I write. The series is about three ‘brothers’, Cameron, Harvey and Hamilton, who own an exclusive BDSM club. There are six books total, two for each Dom. The three men are all quite different, each bringing a different take on things. Cam is looking for his perfect sub without any success until he meets Tilly by accident. Harvey isn’t looking for anyone, in fact he’s avoiding relationships completely, even to the point of only doing ménages. Ham has very hard edges and will be interesting to put out there.
- What’s next for you? I’m not altogether sure but I plan to keep writing. I have lots of ideas in my head that want to come out, most of them stand alone stories. I’ve been co authoring with Kassandra Cox and we have a few more books planned. The two of us are enjoying trying out new genres together. I may start another series once this one is done. If I do, you will be one of the first to know. For now, I am playing it by ear.
- Many writers do other creative things, like painting. Do you have other creative outlets? Nothing like that really. No time. I like listening to books and music, so I suppose that fits. I’m pretty handy at home, building and renovating, even some gardening. That involves quite a bit of creativity, I guess, so that fits as well. Most of my creativity, though, comes out in my stories.
- What is your favorite drink?
I would have to say Lanson Champagne. I enjoy a beer now and then too and a good red wine. - We all have them… What is your guilty pleasure? Well, outside of the Erotica writing and role playing, I’d have to say porn.
Thank you for talking to us today Edward! Best wishes in all you do!!
HARVEY Part Two:
After years of considering Bonny the bane of his existence, Harvey is forced to step in and protect her with scorching results. When her criminal ex-boyfriend comes into the club demanding his money or Bonny’s life, will Harvey realize and admit his true feelings in time to save her?
New author to me. I need to look up the first book.
That’s one sexy cover!
