CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL is the perfect conclusion to Kylie’s journey of self discovery. The SHADOW FALLS series is a great series that paranormal lovers will enjoy. The best thing? This is a series adults can read on their own and enjoy, better yet they can also read it with their teenagers and enjoy.  ~ DiDi, Guilty Pleasures

Kylie Galen’s life hasn’t been the same since her world was turned upside-down in Born at Midnight, Shadow Falls #1, and now an epic conclusion to her journey—not to mention a tough choice between two guys!—is brewing in Chosen at Nightfall:

When Kylie Galen left Shadow Falls, she thought it was the hardest decision of her life. Heartbroken and separated from everyone she loves, she has to embrace her abilities and what it means to be a chameleon. But as Kylie’s journey comes to a close, she must return to the camp that started it all…and she must finally chose between the two boys who love her. The werewolf who broke her heart when he chose his pack over her, and the half-fae who ran from their intense attraction before they ever really had a chance. For Kylie, everything will finally be revealed and nothing will ever be the same.

This is a bittersweet review to write.  I absolutely could not wait for CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL, evenpurestdelightaward knowing this would be the end of Kylie’s journey. COLOR ME HAPPY when I found out that even though Kylie’s found her HEA the series will go on with Della’s journey.

The exhilarating thrill ride that started with BORN AT MIDNIGHT continues to a fabulous end with CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL. Kylie has left the comfort she has found at Shadow Falls to go with her grandfather, she soon sees that she prefers the comfort and security of Shadow Falls and is ready to go back when the opportunity arises.  Once back at Shadow Falls things heat up and Kylie has some serious decisions to make and some surprises to deal with.  Yes I am being vague on purpose, you have to read the book for all the surprises.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED Holiday and Burnett’s story, sighh I’m even more in love with Burnett than I was before.

All the players I have come to love are in CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL, plus some new ones.  I love the emotions, tension, humor, suspense and twists and turns that Ms. Hunter wove throughout the story.  And even though Kylie didn’t pick who I wanted, by the end of the book I was more than happy with the way it all worked out.

With CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL.  Ms. Hunter has proven that she can write the perfect blend of suspense, humor and teenage angst without being over the top.  I look forward to reading Della’s journey through Shadow Falls.

To sum it up….CHOSEN AT NIGHTFALL is the perfect conclusion to Kylie’s journey of self discovery.  The SHADOW FALLS series is a great series that paranormal lovers will enjoy.  The best thing?  This is a series adults can read on their own and enjoy, better yet they can also read it with their teenagers and enjoy. (I have told several friends with teenagers about it and they have told me their girls love it).
