Late at night, on an amateur ghost hunt, Sabrina and her best friend Q are caught trespassing by the gorgeous, blonde Jude. The embers of attraction between them sizzle when they discover Jude’s kinks match their own.
Jude is a Dom on his last summer of freedom before starting the prison sentence that is med school. Q is a bad-ass bi switch who knows what she wants, and for years it’s been her cute, doe-eyed straight friend Sabrina. But the only way into Sabrina’s heart and panties may be with Jude’s fist wrapped in her hair.
Domming the bratty Q and mischievous Sabrina isn’t going to be easy but Jude relishes the challenge. At the end of the summer, will they find a way to stay together when everything is tearing them apart?
The collaboration of authors Cari Silverwood, Leia Shaw, and Sorcha Black is a three-some made in literary heaven. They do a fantastic job telling a great story that I loved.
Best friends and roommates, Q and Sabrina, constantly live with their attraction for one another. The two, sexy women meet Jude during a night of ghost hunting. Jude is only in town for the summer. A friendship begins and the three quickly agree to explore a BDSM, three-some relationship (FFM). Can they keep their hearts out of the mix? Or will someone get hurt at the end of summer?
The three main characters (Jude, Q, and Sabrina) are wonderfully written. I cared about them all, yet felt an extra connection with Sabrina. Her antics and humor had me laughing throughout the entire book.
Q was funny in her own right. She was also a tortured soul and my heart still breaks for her. When I began the story, I questioned her knowledge of the lifestyle. As I learned more about Q, her behavior made perfect sense. I cried for this tough and lovely woman. At times she was self-destructive and others she was gentle and loving.
Through most of the story, I felt like I knew Q and Sabrina quite well. Although I really adore Jude, he seemed to be the third. Kind of just there. Oh, he was a very active participant in the smokin’ hot sex scenes. I knew he was a great guy throughout. I never questioned that. I was so happy when we learned more about him. However, I do wish it would have been a little sooner.
The three weather many ups and downs – together and apart. Abuse that will make you cringe and seemed all too real. Questionable choices, self-destructive behavior, beautiful friendship, off the charts sex and, finally, love. I will be waiting impatiently for the next book these three fabulous authors are currently writing.
Dom with a Safeword is a fun, sexy read that will make you laugh, cry and need a cold shower… all at the same time!!
