Angeline’s Thoughts
I was first introduced to Cathryn Fox’ work with her Pleasure Inn trilogy. I loved them, so I jumped at the chance to read and review book one in her Boys of Beachville series.
Even after four months apart, Carter and Allison still love each other. Carter has been miserable without her and will do anything to win her back. Allison is miserable too, but fights to deny her feelings even though it is a losing battle.
The emotion is felt throughout this story. I was rooting for them the whole way through. The turning point with Carter’s epiphany and Allison’s acceptance of the truth is heartfelt. All of the pieces fall together and we get our glorious HEA.
A bonus is that for a shorter story, we get lots of sizzling sex!!! Hot sex with a great story line, you just can’t beat that! There is no doubt these two are meant to be together, in and out of the bedroom.
