Seems like I’ve waited forever for this book and it was well worth the wait. I LOVE Christy Reece’s Last Chance Rescue series, I really like how she has done the series in trilogies, each trilogy can be read on it’s own, in other words you can read Sweet Justice without having read the first six books, there are appearances from characters in the first six books but you won’t be lost. BUT I STRONGLY suggest to read them all, LCR has alpha men who fall in love HARD and women strong enough to keep them in place.
Within the first two chapters my heart broke with Honor and Seth’s, Ms. Reece knows hows to write emotions and draw you into her character’s minds and lives. We get to see the sexy, ever grumpy, but always playing cupid, leader of LCR Noah McCall and other LCR operatives as they join in to try to solve the case of the missing college students. The story is right out of today’s headlines and shows just how easy young women and men can be snatched off of the streets. And the horror of how people can be brainwashed by maniacs.
Seth’s love for Honor is so sweet and strong. He is probably one of the sweetest Alpha men I’ve ever read. And their lovin’ is HOTTT!!! Honor has been through so much, my heart broke with hers twice in this book, yes I cried TWO TIMES…but LOVED it!!!
I so can’t wait for the next two installments of LCR.
