The first in a new erotic romance series, Backstage Pass is a sizzling mix of sex, love, and rock n’ roll
It’s been months since Brian Sinclair, lead guitarist for the famous rock band, Sinners, composed anything. Unable to write the music that once flowed so naturally, Brian is lost without his musical mojo. But when sexy psychology professor Myrna Evans comes on tour to study groupie mentality, Brian may have found the spark he needs to reignite his musical genius. When lust turns to love, will Brian be able to convince Myrna that what they have is more than just a fling, and that now that he’s found his heart’s muse, he doesn’t want to live without her?

Kurvy K’s Review:
I absolutely LOVED-LOVED-LOVED this book. It was recommended by several friends from my book club, and they came through again big-time with this one.

The series is about a rock band of 5 guys who, thank goodness, will eventually get their own stories. But, this book is about Brian Sinclair, the lead guitarist of the very popular band, The Sinners. He’s fallen into a bit of a slump with his music writing, in steps Myrna, a psychology professor and fan of the band who runs into them at the bar at her hotel while attending a boring psychology seminar. She and Brian hit it off and she becomes his muse. Oh, man, he could write music on my body any day of the week. Brian is so sweet, sexy, and irresistible, it’s no wonder I immediately fell for him. I like rock music, but I’ve never been one of those girls who falls in love with rock stars and fantasizes about being a groupie, (ok, well maybe I dreamed about Jon Bon Jovi, but that’s another story for another day) –but these guys will have you begging to be their groupie. I completely connected to Brian’s character like never before. There’s something about him that speaks to me, to the very core of me. He’s not your typical alpha male, which was surprisingly refreshing, but neither was he a push-over or weak. I liked Myrna too—she has a strong personality, she’s a little older, she brings some maturity to the lives of a bunch of crazy guys, and the fact they all liked her and respected her, made the guys all the more endearing. I know you’re asking, how could anyone describe rock band members as endearing, and all I can is READ the book. Let’s talk about the steam factor –it is HOT, the kind of HOT that has you running to put your head in the freezer or jumping your significant other. The sex is off the charts with just the right amount of kink. BP is an over-all great story that is well-written with plenty of plot. It’s also very funny, has a bit of suspense, and is as raunchy as they come (huge plus IMO). Go ahead, I dare ya not to fall in love with this book or the series. From what I’ve seen so far from this author, Mrs. Cunning has a VERY bright future. This book remains in my top five of books I’ve read this year and I hope the third book comes out soon because I’m ready for Master Jace and his big bag of toys.
